After completing an MBA from South Africa's leading business school, Vincent's career in recruitment started in 1995 with Morgan & Banks in Sydney. He returned to South Africa to start his own recruitment business and together with his sister Heidi created Accounts on Call, which rapidly became the leading financial recruitment company in Cape Town. Accountants on Call was sold to Manpower in 2003 and after moving to the UK Vincent started a new sports drink called Taut, which by 2007 was listed in over 2,500 UK outlets including Tesco and Waitrose. After the sale of Taut to an LSE listed UK drinks company, Vincent returned to recruitment, joining Manpower in their London City office in January 2010. He is now looking forward to combining his passion for start ups with his recruitment experience and the amazing off shoring opportunities South Africa presents.Page 2the teamHeidi Baasch SA Client DirectorHeidi started her career in recruitment in 1996 when she joined Vincent as a partner in Accountants on Call in Cape Town; prior to that she had managed and then sold a successful logistics company. After seven years Accountants on Call was sold to Manpower in 2003 and Heidi remained with the company for a further three years, opening a new branch in Johannesburg. In 2007 she joined Voice Recruitment, specialising in call centre recruitment to support this growing industry in South Africa. VOICE | Contact was born in 2010 as an exciting next step to bring together Heidi's depth of experience in recruitment and the opportunities offered by the dynamic new BPO sector in South Africa. Page 3the teamLaura Baasch Operations DirectorLaura's career spans recruitment, contact centre management, design, media and IT. After studying graphic design, multimedia and programming for the web, she joined a top new media house in Cape Town. She left the media world to join her mother Heidi in business at Accountants on Call in 2002, initially remaining with the company after the sale to Manpower. In 2004 Laura founded Voice Recruitment, which by 2006 had branches in Cape Town and Johannesburg. She has been actively involved in the contact centre industry in South Africa for over 5 years and has worked on industry white papers as a project manager for BPeSA, dedicated to the development of the IT and BPO sectors. Laura has in depth knowledge of recruitment as well as the staffing and technology aspects of the BPO sector. She brings a passion for human capital and a unique blend of highly relevant skills to VOICE | Contact.
